Did you hear about the fire at the circus?

It was in tents...

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows?

They are making headlines...

What do all these jokes have in common??? They are all "Dad Jokes"... Over the years I have been telling jokes like these more and more frequently. And recently way more often.

Let me tell you a story- My freshman year of college, I lived in a fraternity that sat on top of a hill. My first class was at 8AM and I had to walk down hill to the Auditorium for my first class of the day. Acting 101. After that I went to more classes all over campus, My last class of the day was Communications 101 and was clear across campus down hill from my house. So at the end of the day I would walk back up hill to my house. I also went to school in Idaho, and this winter there was about 1 to 1 1/2 feet of snow maybe 2 feet of snow. So at one point in my life I had to walk to school and home in 2 feet of snow up hill both ways. I was also a broke college kid so I am pretty sure I did this all with holes in my shoes........

This is the car I drive. I drive a station wagon.

Sexy dad.
All these are signs that I have become a father... Well at 2:52PM on 01/27/14 I became a father for real. Alice Shauna Alley was born 7lbs 3oz and 19.75" long. With a 14" head. I kept asking the Dr. if that was large, and all he would say was that it was "a good size." I explained that my head is quite large and has been this size, maybe even larger at one point since the day I was born. (I know my poor mother) Still all he said was "It is a good size" with a giggle.
Alice in wonderland theme. She is going to have so many adventures.
My beautiful Alice!!!!
My little girl is going to love halloween, I already got her ready to do some trick or treating...

3 days old. Am i the youngest Seahawks fan???

I don't wanna be cliche but the moment I looked down and saw her my whole life changed. It was an amazing experience, and I even cried. (Please don't tell anyone!!!!) I couldn't imagine a more perfect little girl being born. I instantly fell in love with her, and her with I, the second I saw her. There is no experience like it, and nothing will ever compare. I will forever put her above my own needs, and do anything and everything it takes to keep her safe and happy. She is an amazing daughter and I cant wait for you all to meet her.
She is Amazing!!!
